LAHORE: The long pending project of Fatima Jinnah Institute of Dental Sciences in Jubilee City, which was facing a gap of 20 years, has been completed and is expected to open soon.
Punjab Administration Minister, Mohsin Naqvi, during his recent visit to the institution, reviewed the completed work and ordered speedy completion of the remaining tasks.
Naqvi also gave orders to convert the institution’s courtyard, which is now covered with bushes, into a green lawn within 7 days.
He inspected the medical equipment there and ordered immediate installation. Dormitory under construction was reviewed with instructions to make lawns on adjacent vacant land.
During the visit, the secretary of health and C&W briefed the progress of the project. They informed the CM that 30 dental units have been handed over to the institute and 20 additional units will be handed over soon.
